Michelle Wrobel, RN — founder of Safe Start Newborn Education

Meet Michelle Wrobel

I’m Michelle Wrobel, a Registered Nurse with over 21 years of experience in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I’ve spent my career caring for fragile newborns, supporting families through some of their most anxious moments, and translating complex medical information into clear, practical guidance parents can use right away.

As a mother of three, I also know what it feels like to bring a new baby home and wonder if you’re doing everything right. That combination of NICU experience and real-life parenting is at the heart of Safe Start Newborn Education. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you can ask questions freely, practice hands-on skills, and leave feeling confident, prepared, and truly empowered.

What I Teach

  • Neonatal Resuscitation classes for healthcare professionals — building the skills and readiness to respond in critical moments.
  • Newborn and Infant Safety classes for families — covering newborn care, CPR, safe sleep, feeding, soothing, bathing, diapering, home safety, and how to recognize when something isn’t right.
